Hi, I'm Shaye Fitzpatrick! 

I am a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and I am the owner and sole provider  at TN Women's Health . I am excited to get to provide women’s healthcare and gynecology to middle TN. 

I want to share my heart with you and tell you the reasons that God has lead me to starting TWH. 

This is is the short and sweet version . 

Over the last 8 years I have met and gotten to take care of  so many women and their families and I love every one of you. Just like for everyone else, Covid changed so much for me , it took away my office in Lafayette, my hometown, which left me only seeing patients  at the  Gallatin office.  This wasn't what I wanted at the time , but God knows best and he has a way of setting us up for what's to come. He knew I needed Gallatin and Gallatin needed me. So much changed during Covid , it was in October of 2021 that I decided to quit hiding behind my mask and take a break. It wasn't my patients that I needed a break from, I was running from "change" , my biggest fear. It was a much needed 6-8 week break and I got to enjoy the holidays with my family. I got to be still and listen to God, I was hoping that when I returned to work that I would be fresh  and good as new ....but God wanted more from me.  I kept praying for clarity,  but then I pushed it down deep inside, telling myself  every excuse as to why I couldn't do this. I worked as little as I had to, because work  as I  had known it over the last 7 years  had all changed.  One thing that never changed was my faithful patients that continued to show up and I had no doubt that caring for women is what God called me to do.   I started praying for God to give me signs and direction.   He did just that in so many forms, but most importantly he said...jump! We all know how hard that is, but with a little shove, I submitted and resigned.  Whew... so many emotions, lots of tears, but instant relief! I did it God !! Now what?  

Ask me at your first visit about the number 1  ( a symbol of new beginnings, fresh starts, spiritual awakening, leadership, and achievement) because God has a sense of humor when it comes to signs.

Since  resigning I have been able to be still and listen, meet with Doctors and NPs that own their own small practices and gain clarity about opening TN Women's Health.  

 This is a huge leap of faith for me, but I know  with God anything is possible!!!

I have learned so much already and one of those things is CHANGE is scary, CHANGE is good,  CHANGE is growth , and I am so excited  to embark on this new adventure and get to see and take care of all of you and be apart of these communities!! 

God is good and he wants you to be treated like family and have someone who cares about you taking care of you. You are not just a number, you are IMPORTANT and we want to treat you like this!
